I’m visiting the area this week from New York and a friend brought me here for lunch. The super tortas was so fresh very tasty. I had one chicken and one Carne Asada. I ate half of each to taste them both I did not know one was gonna be so filling. This bakery have a nice wide variety of Mexican breads and pastries. I got there today around 12:30 in the afternoon. It was very busy and they were constantly coming out with more pastries to replenish the shelves that they had just baked! There’s seating inside and outside.

I just found out about this place through a friend. I have had tacos all over Texas, this place has made it in my top 3 taco places to eat! Tacos were excellent, beer was cold and salsa was spicy!!! There was a line to the door, but well worth the wait!

I've been going to Martinez Bakery for almost 30 years. I remember the first time I went there, I walked across the ally from my now ex passed uncle restaurant in 1995. They were an amazing family then and now. I love there tradition.......but yalls Tortas have gotten smaller. Chiqito Tortas, nombre ya son McD's tortas. Everything is five stars for me, just being honest.
